Jamaica’s Williams cops gold in 100m hurdles

Danielle Williams confirmed her tag as World Championships gold medal favourite, with a dominating win in the 100m hurdles at the Brussels Diamond League Final to claim the diamond in the event. 

Williams, in the process, also secured a wild card entry to this month’s World Championships in Doha, Qatar and the US$50,000 ($6.9 million) prize money awarded to Diamond Race winners.
