1.5 to 3 hours on rafts made from long and strong bamboo logs.
What to expect rafting on the Rio Grande
Along the river there is a variety of flora and fauna including ducks,
egrets, wild cane and banana groves to be seen. The Blue mountains
ahead create the perfect backdrop for photographs. Your raft captain

having your photo taken. Be sure to ask about the rock that American
artistes JayZ and Beyonce visited to record a music video.
The operating hours are 9AM – 4PM daily. Reservations can be made
online but this is not mandatory. Guests may simple drive to the river
along the main road in Port Antonio (there are signs) where raft
captains dressed in yellow sports shirts sports can be found.

downpour often last for only a few minutes. The knowledgeable raft
captain will be able to advise when it is best to go for a ride.
