British PM out of hospital

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been released from hospital.

Johnson was hospitalise almost a week ago after he tested positive for COVID-19 with persisting symptoms.

So bad was his condition that he was moved to the Intensive Care Unit.

In a statement issued by a spokesman, it was revealed that the Prime Minister will “continue his recovery at Chequers.”

Chequers is his official country retreat in Buckinghamshire.

The spokesman went on to state “On the advice of his medical team, the prime minister will not be immediately returning to work.

“He wishes to thank everybody at St Thomas’ for the brilliant care he has received.

“All of his thoughts are with those affected by this illness.”
